Dr. Matthew Godwin, DC—a U.S. Navy Gulf War veteran and third-generation chiropractor—brings over 21 years of experience to every patient he serves. Rooted in family tradition and guided by a mission of compassion and results, our practice is proud to be veteran-owned and dedicated to helping patients in Zephyrhills, Dade City, and Wesley Chapel live healthier, pain-free lives.
Meet Dr. Matthew Godwin, DC
A family tradition of chiropractic care.
For Dr. Godwin, chiropractic isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling passed down through generations. His grandfather practiced chiropractic in Tampa from 1949 to 1978, leaving a legacy of natural healing that inspired Dr. Godwin’s career.
After completing his chiropractic training, Dr. Godwin opened his own practice in 2007. In 2021, he relocated to his current clinic in the heart of downtown Zephyrhills to better serve local families, professionals, and accident victims.
Today, he leads Downtown Zephyrhills Chiropractic as clinic director, bringing over 21 years of clinical experience in chiropractic medicine, physiotherapy, and functional medicine.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Godwin proudly served in the United States Navy during the Gulf War. His military service instilled values of discipline, integrity, and dedication that continue to guide his work today.
